Privacy Notice
Hutton Rudby Dramatic Society does not store any debit or credit card details, and we do not share any booking or accounts details with any third parties. We respect the rights of our customers and their personal details, and we are in full agreement with the principles outlined in the Data Protection Act. In this interest of honesty and transparency, we hope that this privacy notice is clear, concise and informative.
What information do we gather?
We do not store personal information on customers ordering tickets online using TicketSource. Information, including credit card data, is stored on the TicketSource website on their secure server. Look for the https:// prefix on their web address. Our account administrator has access to contact information to identify ticket purchasers but has no access to credit card information. No information about an individual customer, to which we have access, will ever knowingly be made available by us to third parties without the express consent of the individual.
Payment is handled separately, and securely, by TicketSource, so these details are never gathered by us and we never have access to them.
How do we process this information, and for what purpose?
We require some personal details for a number of reasons.
We need your full name, address, and email address so that we are able to send your tickets electronically, to allow us to re-issue tickets if anything goes wrong, and so that we can offer refunds if we, unfortunately, need to cancel a planned event. We also require this information for our own recordkeeping. We may use these details to send you promotional material about other Hutton Rudby Dramatic Society events, should you choose not to opt-out.
Who will we share this information with?
We do not share the information we collect with any third party apart from TicketSource, who host our ticket sales operation and hold this information for us. They are also subject to the Data Protection Act in the same manner we are.

How do we protect your information?
We follow the Information Commissioner’s Office recommendations for our own data security. TicketSource uses its own security measures to keep your personal banking details safe, including safeguards such as firewalls and data encryption. Please see their privacy policy for more information.

Conditions of Sale – Cancellation Policy
Tickets cannot be exchanged or money refunded. Once purchased, your ticket/s is/are your responsibility. Hutton Rudby Dramatic Society cannot refund your ticket/s value to you under any circumstances unless we cancel an event out of choice rather than due to circumstances beyond our control.
Data Protection
Under the Data Protection Act, we have a legal duty to protect any information we collect from you. Personal data you give will be used exclusively for providing you with the information or service that you have requested. Once you have booked tickets with Hutton Rudby Dramatic Society’s box office your details will be held on our database. From time to time we may send you information about Hutton Rudby Dramatic Society and its programme of events. If you do not wish to receive this information, you may choose to opt-out at the point of purchasing your tickets by deselecting the appropriate choices.
