Characters

Cinderella: A young, kind hearted girl whose good hearted nature will help her win the day. This role involves singing.

Prince: The classic principal boy role. Singing is required for this role.

Dandini: The Prince’s servant and friend. A fun character to play.

Buttons: Cinderella’s best friend. A comedy character who loves Cinderella.

Fairy Godmother: The classic panto fairy who shall send Cinderella to the ball.

Grizelda/Mona: THE Ugly Sisters. Mean, silly. These roles will be enormous fun to play and cannot be too over the top! Water pistols are involved.

The Baron: Cinderella’s father. A kind, if somewhat weak man, completely under the thumb of the Baroness.

The Baroness: The panto villain. Completely awful, mean and cruel. No nice side at all!

The Fairy Squad: Four trainee fairies who assist the Fairy Godmother. An opportunity for our younger cast members to play these roles.

Chamberlain: A smaller role in the palace scene. A bossy, officious character.

Chorus: What every panto needs and lots of opportunity to appear in scenes and take part in musical numbers. There are some lines too.
