For our September 2023 production we had an amazing time transporting our audience back to the 1920s. Blue Murder at the Blue Parrot was a murder mystery show like no other. We turned Hutton Rudby Village Hall into an extension of the Blue Parrot nightclub, with our patrons becoming a part of the show.
We had cabaret, dancing, jazz – all the elements to make the Blue Parrot nightclub swing just as it did in 1920 Soho, London. And with a murder taking place on the premises, it was not long before our patrons were playing detective to work out whodunnit!
Great fun was had by both our cast and patrons, and both nights of performance were brimming with enthusiastic participants. Below are a selection of images that were used to support the publicity for the production and also from the show.
