Considerable dedication, teamwork and some significant technical innovations were among the many factors which ensured that this ambitious show was a great success! The audience was treated to comic highlights and moments of pathos, especially in the concluding segment on World War One. The singing, dancing, filmed inserts, reminiscences of past shows, costumes, and of course pie and peas were all much appreciated by the audiences. A profit of £702 for the three nights was a good return, especially since the expenses included a new backcloth. Congratulations to our director, Elaine Wyllie, and everyone involved.
